By popular demand (or rather, by the consistent demand of Wrigley's biggest fan), here are some pictures of Wrigley Beans. I am posting them in sequential order as I took them so that you can see what his normal behavior is. He is not the kind of dog that lounges around outside, oh no! For danger lurks in all directions, he must remain ever vigilant. He is only sitting because I required it of him and he was feeling like being obedient today, apparently.
Now was that a variety of emotions or what?! Worried to alarmed to concerned to suspicious... you have to admit that the guy's got some range!

I love that he always looks worried. So cute!
He is a very beautiful dog, big strong chest. Is he the one who hates the crate? I can see why when he is so aware of whats going on.
Kisses,
Stella
Stella, Wrigley actually LOVES his crate and is extremely calm and relaxed when he's inside. Unfortunately, he spent at least part of his puppyhood living alone chained up outside in a field with no one to protect him, so he is very aware of the dangers outside can hold! He feels like he needs to protect the pack when we're outside! He is such a sweet dog, really. :)
I just just hear him woofing under his breath (well, that is what that expression means on Dixie anyway)
It looks like he's watching a tennis match!
Oh, Nicole he is such a beauty, thank you for posting.
He is right of course, danger does lurk behind every corner and life is a constant worry :)
Ashley, He WAS woofing under his breath a little. You are right.
Rachel, I am glad that Wrigley has a kindred spirit out there somewhere who can understand his mindset. Life is not all dog biscuits and ropey balls, this he knows.
Oh to know exactly what is being said in his mind. I can't wait for the day scientist figure out a way for us to read dogs minds! ;o)
