Buddha Chai

Well, unrelated to the Brown Dogs (or Addy), but I thought I would share this with you. This weekend I had some free time and decided to devote it to making a felt portrait of my friend, Flo's dog, Chai as a little Buddha. I am really happy with the way it came out. Flo thinks that the likeness is dead on, which was the goal.


I think I will definitely make more in the future. This was a fun way to spend a couple of hours.

We just received our first award from our new friend, and fellow pibble dog, Princess the Pit Bull. How sweet!

Well, there are a few reasons that I love blogging about the dogs. The first is that I think they're so special and great and wonderful and I just want to gush about them all the time! The second is the because I think that it's important to get a positive pit bull image out as much as possible. I want people to be aware that there are responsible, caring pit bull caregivers and along with that, there are sweet pit bull dogs who are just like any other dog. The last reason is because I love connecting with all of the other dog lovers out there! Living with a dog really does something to your heart (and if it doesn't, then I just don't know what to make of you).

1) The lovely Mina and Celeste.
2) The Little Brown Dog, a tripod like Addy (they are even missing the same leg)!
